The Queensland Government have invested substantially in changing from their old 'DCDB' Digital Cadastral Data Base technology which had been 'end of life'.
As of August 2026 Terrain now uses the Queensland Spatial Cadastral Fabric (QSCF) . There are more changes to come but initially we have switched as the DCDB was not longer getting updated.
There are still delays in some areas. As with any change of system, it takes a while to learn how to use new tools. A lot more information can be found on Qspatial .
Big changes are we now show BUP/GTP lots in Orange. Common Property lots are now labelled a consistant 'CP' rather than a mix of lot '0' or '0000'.
We are working at using some of the new features, the one major issue this resolves for us is the underground parcels. Places like IPSWICH which have lots under the ground and in new estates above ground. We are still working on this functionality.
